Theater and Music in Southern Vermont

Vermont is a great state for culture, and Southern Vermont has it all.  It is an easy drive from Stratton to world class culture.

• The Manchester Music Festival is unbelievable, with a kids show this winter at Stratton
• There is great Theater in Dorset,  just a short drive to the west of Stratton throught Manchester.
• The Weston Playhouse has wonderful summer theater.
• The Weston Theater has great shows, just up Route 100
• Bennington Center for the Arts with the Covered Bridge Museum
• For the kids and all of us, in Manchester, there is the Village Picture Show, 802 362-2982.

And if you  want a great and easy trip to Manhatten, maybe just join the Manchester Arts Center and go in, for example, for a spectacular December show, with a group of local Vermonters.

Museums in Manchester and Southern Vermont

We will be setting up this section in the summer of  2008.  

• Manchester Music is unbelievable, with a kids show this winter at Stratton
• There are museums in Manchester and Bennington that will "knock your socks off" in Vermont vernacular.
• There is great Theater in Dorset, just a short drive to the west of Stratton
• There is also great Theater in Weston.
• The Hildane Home is worth a visit, when it is decorated for Christmas or year Round
• The Southern Vermont Arts Center in Manchester has amazing art, photography and local artist shows throughout the season.  It is a quick ride from Stratton.
• The Bennington Center for the Arts and Museum is unbelievable with new personnel running the store.
• The Weston Theater has great shows, just up Route 100
