| Eight. Bee Number 8 Then a Bee, who stayed out late Thought "Flying alone I really hate. I need to find a good mate Because I am lonely Bee Number 8".
Then Number 7 said gently "Well I need a bee to fly with me But I fly low and so slowly And sometimes I get lost over the sea."
"Don't worry", Number 8 said, "I can wait. And keep your flying up to date. But I do not want to be fish bait So low over the sea is not my gate."
So Number 7 and Number 8 flew together They tried to avoid cold and stormy weather
They flew all over the green mountain land And sometimes watched a Tyrolean band But stayed away from the sea and sand.
If you look out over a mountain that's grand You might still see them flying, hand in hand.

| About Even More Bees After you can count from 1 to 8 And when it is not really late And when I do not have a date And nothing else is on my plate Another bee story might be great About Bee Number 9 and his fate.
But I would go to sleep now and I wouldn't wait Just think about Bee Numbers 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 and 8.
