They can be beautiful fall weddings with crisp cool evenings or snowy winter weddings. They can be tremendous bargains in "Mud Season" or "Stick Season", when most tourists leave Vermont.

Because of its proximity to New York City, Boston, Hartford, Albany, New Hampshire and New York State, many people choose Southern Vermont for a destination wedding.
