Stratton is known for its Ski and Snowboard Parks

Stratton has always had awesome parks.  Every year they change and get better and better.   We will list the upcoming season when available.

  • The superpipe is located over at Sunrise Supertrail.
  • East Brynside Park will become the large park with large step down jumps, gap on rail and boxes and a 10 by 20 ft wall ride at the bottom of the park.
  • Smoothie Park will become a  medium-sized park is located on Old Smoothie and will include both rails and jumps
  • Tyrollien Park will have Stratton's small terrain feature featuring table-tops and butter boxes to help skiers and riders work on their skills.
  • The Kids Parkway is our smallest park that designed for teaching or first time parks riders.  Stratton has partnered with Burton for thus unique Learn to Freestyle program.
  • The Betwixt and Beeline Rail / Jib Gardens are right at the top of the American Express to the left.  Thies small parks feature rails, boxes and other jibs.  Some will be ride-on and others jump-on.

More About Parks

Stratton continues to change its trails each season and actually during the season.

  • Tyrollean will become the beginner to intermediate park and be lighted for a series of Saturday Night  Events near the base lodge.
  • Suntanner, previously a terrain park, will now have a Border-X cross on its lower level.
  • The Emerald Forest Glade, a fun place for kids of all ages, will have more natural terrain features such as banks, jumps, rails and rollers.  Stratton has been working with the fallen trees, rocks, stumps to create lots of features to ski and snowboard around.
  • Test Pilot, an often difficult glade, depending on snow conditions, is being revamped and some of the densely treed areas are being opened up to create better and alternative lines.  All timber that is cut down is being used for features in the glade..

New S.E.S Pass Process

In previous years, any rider had to have a S.E.S. Pass, and get it by going through a safety video in the Igloo by the mid-station lodge.  Going through the program S.E.S program, gives you a pass access to Stratton's best rated parks in the country.

The S.E.S. program is now offered completely online. All you have to do is watch the smart style video, answer 5 questions correctly, print out you assumption of risk, and bring it to the S.E.S. ticket window at the ticket counter.  All skiers and snowboarder are required to attend SES online or in the igloo, before earning access to Stratton's parks.
