Village Watch. It's all about the location.
The Village Watch complex is a true slopeside, ski-in ski out location. The word "Condo" on the photo on the top points to the Villager Beginner area. This photo was taken from the slope. On the photo to the right, the Village Watch / Mountain Watch condos are immediately underneath that word.
The Village Watch building No. 4 is located on the Tamarack lift. Village Watch 3 is between the Tamarack and Villager Chair Beginner area. These are perfect ski-in or ski-out condominium units with access to either of two lifts. They are slopeside and a short walk to the Stratton Village. The location makes these condos the most desirable Stratton lodging for a perfect winter vacation.
The Village Watch Buildings No. 4 and No. 3 are in a separate condominium association, but immediately adjacent and similar to Mountain Watch condominiums. Click here to see more about Mountain Watch.

Village Watch Condominiums
The Village Watch complex consists of two building. They were built in the mid 1980's, with Village Watch No. 4 being built first, and then Village Watch 3. While similar in appearance, Village Watch 4 has an additional floor and has the most of the units available for rent.
The majority of the Village Watch condos are large two bedroom, two bath units of 1100 to 1250 sq. ft. They have two master bedrooms, each with a full bath. The second master is also called the "Lock Out" bedroom, because it has a separate entrance to the hallway, and is quite private from the main living area. Some of the two bedroom units have been converted into three bedroom units, by placing a small bunk bedroom in what had been a large walk in closet in the second master bedroom. Others have extended the unit by purchasing available adjacent space and creating a small bedroom
These two bedroom units are often the most requested because of the location. There may not be a 2 bedroom unit for rent in building 3 this year. They rent from $500 to $800 per night holiday.

Village Watch. It's all about our caretakers.
The Village Watch / Mountain Watch complex is maintained by two excellent caretakers.
-
Larry has been taking care of the units for a long time, almost since inception. He takes pride in the units he has painted. He is a gentleman in all respects and treats the units as his own home. Once, about 10 years ago, when there was a major summer squall, he went back to the complex at night, watched over it, and called us to say all was safe. Another time when my daughter was there alone for a week in the spring, studying, and he stopped in every day.
-
Sam is our other caretaker, meticulous, and helps out in every way possible.
