Springfield is a thriving Vermont town. It appears that once it had a larger manufacturing presence, but today is the home of manyservices, a good local hospital, movie theater, and many traditional town stores. It also is the site of the Eureka Schoolhouse, the oldest one room schoolhouse in Vermont.
