Manchester and Surrounding Towns
There are wonderful towns for visiting, dining and shopping all around Stratton. Bondville is at the base of the access road, Rawsonville is to the right (leaving Stratton going South East) down Rt. 30 at the base of Rt. 100. Further down Rt. 30 is Jamaica and Newfane. Up Route 100 is South Londonderry, Londonderry and Weston.
But, the largest, oldest and best to visit when staying at Stratton to start with is Manchester, Vermont. Manchester has its own website for Manchester Events. You may never want to leave Manchester Center with its 50 plus upscale discount stores, or never leave the town of Manchester with its 200 year old history, white marble sidewalks, old turn of the century hotels and Vermont hospitality.
Our purpose here is to identify those places of special quality and service that we, or our friends, have learned to love and run into every week or so. We are also including other towns within a 30 mile radius of Stratton Mountain, Vermont. This description of Manchester Vermont and surrounding towns will be expanded shortly. In all cases, you should start with visits in Manchester to:

| Most people know Manchester for its excellent shopping and restaurants. However, there are a lot of other services. Did you know there is a woodworking shop right in town?
